The Dome has attracted world-wide attention to the little city of Port Elme, but it isn’t without cost. Families have been separated, homes have been lost, and the city is in turmoil. On the outside of the Dome, news people have been filming for weeks and scientists have gathered to study the phenomenon – hopefully to help get rid of it. Perhaps, if you were separated from people you care about, you might also find them there at the edge.
Through the misty luminescence of the Dome, you’ve seen people begin to set up whiteboards. Since no calls, emails, letters, or even sound can travel through the barrier, this simple form of communication has been set up for a short time. It’s a good idea. Perhaps you can find something to write on and send your own message to those who will listen.0oOo0
Thought I'd throw a small event up. I figured since we're not reaching the 20 members mark for events, I'd go ahead and start it off. This is sort-of a mini event or an incentive to draw, and as such, it'll be worth no more Influence than it usually does. I'm actually thinking of reworking this system, so any suggestions you all could throw my way would be greatly appreciated! ^^
Objective: Draw your character sending and/or receiving a message across the Dome. Does this message involve words? Images? Is it conveyed with a look?
